Custom Sawn Lumber

Utilizing band saw-mills by WoodMizer and Logosol, we have the capability of milling logs up to 56 inches in diameter to your custom specifications. We also maintain an inventory of various species of both air and kiln-dried lumber in both standard and random widths/lengths perfect for your project.

Custom Moldings

Lake Country Specialty has the capability of re-producing impossible to find moldings. A small 2 inch sample or accurate sketch of the desired profile is all that‘s required. Additionally, there are hundreds of hard to find profile knives readily accessible to us if we do not have it in stock.

Kiln Dried - Planed Soft & Hardwood Lumber

Lake Country Specialty has the capacity to dry up to 5,000 board feet of lumber simultaneously in its Nyle dehumidification unit and on-site solar kiln. Properly dried and sterilized wood is critical for interior applications. Kiln Dried pieces can then be planed in widths up to 25 inches.

Mantels, Slabs & Finished Products

We have several species of live-edge slabs to choose from for that bar top or dining room table project in 2” plus thicknesses. Our unique Mantel selection is unmatched in the area and of course we‘re never sure what random unique finished pieces will be available in the showroom.

Fencing / Barn Packages

When building a barn or wooden fence, utilizing rough-sawn pine is a great alternative to expensive pressure-treated lumber and can save you 15% or more on your project ! A typical 3-or 4-board horse fence is typically constructed using 4x4 or 4x6 posts and 1x6 or 1x8 fence boards. These same materials and in larger dimensions can be used for constructing horse barns and similar structures.
